Sunday is Easter!
This is our time to shine as a church to the entire community!
Easter is for many things: The proof of our redemption in Christ. The grave has been forever robbed. Sin has been defeated. Hope for tomorrow. As Christians we celebrate our King and rejoice towards eternity. And for those who have no hope, they will get to discover the hope that is only found in Jesus.
Easter becomes our opportunity, The Refuge Church's opportunity that the Holy Spirit has given us to represent Him to our family, friends, neighbors and community in a powerful way. And for us as His servants, it will require all hands on deck.
I am asking for each of you who will be in town and available to come and link hand and hand, arm and arm to serve …show more content…
- We will be serving French toast sticks (if you have a skillet please bring), Eggs, and Potatoes from Rudy's. Along with muffins, pastries, and bagels. Water is on the menu for drinks with coffee.
- Servers for the food are needed, clean up, and hostesses.
Hospitality - We will have a Photo Booth area the youth group will be creating and there are picture people needed to take pictures. We will need people to man the information booth (The Patio), Prayer Table, and Basket Table (The place where we provide the bags for kids to collect eggs).
Media / Worship area - We need a people to set up and eventually tear down the stages. To put the sound equipment together. People to set up chairs, and to people to pray with new believers.
Egg Drop - We need people to put chalk / paint on the ground for the area in which we will be dropping the eggs - making a square on the ground. We need people to stand and help kids and families during the egg drop, some people for security to protect the helicopter, people available to welcome people, and to provide eggs.
This is a big undertaking and we are asking God to provide beautiful weather, hearts, minds, and souls to receive the Lord, servants to be available and
