Despite All Perseverance is the determination to get a goal that’s set in place done. It’s the motivation to get something done despite the nay Sayers, haters, and doubters who are in your corner. It’s about having the strive to go above and beyond to get what you want no matter what. When it comes to life we never know what’s next so when life causes you to have a major setback, you have the ability to come back with a new mindset knowing that anything is possible and that it can be done. Perseverance consist of three major keys believing, setting your goals, and then achieving them. I’ve been serving for the past three years’ different places but same job. Customer service jobs can be a tough job but easy at the same time. The only difficulty is knowing that everyone that seats in your section can’t be pleased. My first ever serving job was at cheeseburger in paradise I started as a hostess and ended up getting promoted to a server within a …show more content…
That’s when everything had to change from policies, standards and management. It was a good thing for the company as a whole but then again it wasn’t beneficiary to any of the employees because we kept hearing that we were going to be out of a job. It started as a rumor and soon enough it became a reality. Not too long ago, from hearing that news we were told with a few days that we were closing and going out of business. The restaurants were going out of business but the building and everything was still in place. We didn’t get a week or a month of notice just a couple days. Everything was good up until we had to leave tips were better and more people was coming to say bye that week and Sunday would be our last day. I didn’t take it as a loss I just knew I had to use my perseverance to get another job and believe in myself. I went home with the mindset that by the end of that next week that I would have a new
