An American to me is someone who believes in freedom. What is considered freedom though? Many people view the term “freedom” differently. The urban dictionary definition of the word freedom is “Being able to make choices. Performing an action of your own choosing. Freedom will always be relative to the environment/situation which you inhabit.” Freedom to me is being able to do what you want when you want. Freedom isn’t a decision it is a given right. They may believe that freedom is not something that makes someone an American because they don’t have any freedom to make decisions or perform certain actions. Even if they do believe they are given freedom and believe in the idea of freedom they may still argue that doesn’t make someone American because they view freedom as something that is given to anyone anywhere in the world and not just to an American. Non Americans are also often viewed as people who are terrorists. There is terrorism happening everyday throughout the country and terrorist should not be considered Americans because they are not benefiting society and are most likely harming it or putting the public in
