Personal Courage The Army definition of personal courage says that individuals need to face fear, danger or adversity. My personal definition of personal courage is that we need to face our hidden fears, physical or spirituals. Sometime what is quite normal for someone is frightening to someone else, it may be something as simple as teaching an Army class, or as difficult as to jump from an airplane. Some people are afraid of expressing their feeling and some other are afraid to have to understand someone else expressing their feeling. What I mean is that personal courage may be a difficult topic if we can’t understand people, their fear and their background.
