As I got older there were always more and more challenges that I faced, but I always had a best friend and a wingman to help me through it, my Dad. When I was born on March 9, 1999 my Dad said I was the best present he could have ever gotten. The amazing thing was that I was born on my Dad’s birthday and my mom was in labor with me for three days. It’s like I purposefully waited for that day. I have never met my real mom because she left when I was born, but the thing that was amazing was that my Dad stayed and helped me grow up, and did everything that a father should do. She wasn’t the greatest person in the world. She was what some people called an “Evil” step Mom. As I got older and older I realized I wasn’t as close to my Dad as I was before he met my step mom. My step mom had a daughter named Anika who I was close to for the most part. Anything that she wanted she got it, and I didn’t always understand why this was happening.
