Definition Essay On My Dad

There are many things that define a hero, and everyone has their own view of a hero. In my eyes a hero is someone who is brave and courageous, and knows how to be calm in the face of danger or hard decisions. Knowing what the right decision is, even if it is hard for other people to understand. Someone who is tough but soft hearted at the same time. This all would definitely define my Dad.
As I got older there were always more and more challenges that I faced, but I always had a best friend and a wingman to help me through it, my Dad. When I was born on March 9, 1999 my Dad said I was the best present he could have ever gotten. The amazing thing was that I was born on my Dad’s birthday and my mom was in labor with me for three days. It’s like I purposefully waited for that day. I have never met my real mom because she left when I was born, but the thing that was amazing was that my Dad stayed and helped me grow up, and did everything that a father should do.
