How does oneself earn the title “hero”? There are no specific actions you have to do for a particular way you need to be. The title can be earned by anyone. Heroism is remaining humble throughout all the success, but does not necessarily mean they are the most perfect person. A hero is someone who is imperfect and accepts their mistakes to learn from them. Not everyone is perfect, not even the heroes we idolize. Heroes will have a set goal to go after, however obstacles will come in the way. This characteristic is signified in heroes because they make mistakes, but they do not let those things get to them. People who are courageous enough to overcome those obstacles you will find they are flawed. For example, in the movie Moana she had a set goal, to save Motinui. But, of course challenges were going to happen. She did not make the most perfect decisions like going past the dangerous reef. Finally, after conquering those challenges she was able to save her island. Another example refers to Malala Yousafzai, who fought for girls’

That is, a hero will not constantly gloat about his achievements. Instead, they will accumulate all their pride and support others. Modesty is shown in a hero through their uplifting actions. People who are supportive and want to see themselves, as well as others flourish reveal this characteristic. For example, Santiago Erevia received the Medal of Honor because of his service in Vietnam. Even though that was a big accomplishment for him, he does not give it any mind talking about his service. Another example is Mother Teresa, a teacher in India who chose to give up her life to help the less fortunate. She placed the needs of others before her own and does not feel the need to draw attention to herself.
