It is a fact that since the beginning of humankind, all human beings are in this search for happiness, but I think most of us let ourselves be influenced everyday by what we think will bring happiness (joy) to us and to others around us. And it is not bad, on the contrary I think that is a good goal, noble aim. It is so if we see that the Lord has said that man and women are created to have joy in their lives.
But the question here is: what is happiness? It is what brought us to this place this weekend
Also, if we know the meaning of this word, the question then is: Where do we find it? How do we get it? I remember hearing this questions a while ago in a survey that was conducted by a radio station from Colombia trying to determine, according to the responses of the people, what brings happiness to our lives.
I do not remember exactly all the details about the survey, but I do remember that most of the people thought that money plays a huge role in being joyful. However, and it was such a surprise for many people, at the end of the survey, the people who were conducting the research indicated that money itself rarely resulted in real happiness.
