A famous philosopher once said, “Success is like beauty, it’s in the eye of the beholder.” This quote signifies that it’s difficult to define success because how one may interpret the meaning of success, others don’t have the same approach on the topic. There are many points of view on what it really means to be successful, but across the board, there are three main points that everyone incorporates in their ideas of success. Doing what makes you happy, self-satisfaction in your past events, present ideas, and future, and a matter of constant growth by obtaining knowledge. Visualize a society where everyone had all the “objects” they wanted in life. A shiny sports car, a five-story mansion complete with a bowling alley, or a yacht. Anything in the entire world anyone could ever want. Though in order to gain these things, people had to live in complete dread because they have forgotten how to feel happy. Does this sound like a successful way to live? Success is nothing without happiness. Many believe that success is the key to being happy, but instead, being happy is the key to success. Most successful people in the world have one factor in common; they’re happy. They find a positive aspect in their life and they pursue it in …show more content…
Self-satisfaction is also a key to success. Many individuals have asked themselves negative question such as: “What am I even doing with my life?” or “what if I never accomplish any of my goals?” if these questions remain unanswered, they can cause anxiety and possibly depression; thus creating unhappiness, stress, strong feelings that there is no point to try, and self-doubt. This is where self-satisfaction helps. Having self-satisfaction in the present, your future, and your past events, will help steer you away from these troubling questions and to give assistance in allowing you to keep paving your own winding path to success and a bright
