A New You Relationships begin with good intentions. Trust is developed and a sense of security is set in place. One person can turn an awful day, into a good day. Over time, things begin to change. The little things that occurred at the beginning of the relationship, now seem nonexistent. Loss of interest in a significant other can leave them feeling unimportant. In some cases, cheating occurs. Other times, being too busy can end a relationship. A relationship that once seemed unbreakable, has shattered. Somehow, the pieces have to be picked up, While this may sound simple, it’s actually very difficult. A bad breakup can lead to trust issues, low self esteem, and fear of getting into another relationship. Trust is the firm belief in the reliability, truth, ability or strength of someone or something. Trust is the foundation of a relationship. A relationship in which the partners cannot trust each other is not healthy. Putting trust in someone is big. It’s hard to let down the walls built and let someone in. …show more content…
It’s hard to let go of the past relationship. All of the memories, good and bad, flood the brain. Certain smells, places, and songs remind them of that one special person. Once someone new is found, it’s hard to open up and let them in. The fear of another breakup, the fear of not being good enough, not being attractive enough, feeling broken, all contribute to the fear of a new relationship. The negativity consumes the broken person's mind. It’s a never ending cycle of negativity. The only way it can change is when the person is happy once again, and moved on. After a bad breakup, it leaves one at loss. Trying to find themselves, trying to move on, trust issues, and self esteem issues take a toll on someone's heart and mind. Those suffering from a bad breakup need to stay positive and true to themselves. Things can, and will get better. But, for now, say “hello” to the “new
