It’s hard to let go of the past relationship. All of the memories, good and bad, flood the brain. Certain smells, places, and songs remind them of that one special person. Once someone new is found, it’s hard to open up and let them in. The fear of another breakup, the fear of not being good enough, not being attractive enough, feeling broken, all contribute to the fear of a new relationship.
