Emotions can be tough to handle and knowing how to feel your emotions even tougher. Masking them or keeping them hidden inside is easier to some than dealing with how they feel. Are you one of those people? Maybe you fear your emotions will take over and you trust your more rational side to keep you going. What is interesting about that is fear is an emotion you are allowing and fear is one of the most negative emotions to have.
Search for help
Where do you search for help to teach yourself how to feel your emotions? Nowhere. You can’t teach yourself to feel emotions, you have to allow yourself to feel emotions. Emotions are there, even when you think you are in control, all you need to do is allow them to come and do what they are supposed to do.
You have to be able to feel your emotions in order to attract what you want. One of the important keys to getting what you want out of life is feeling what it’s like to already have the life you want. Aligning your vibration with that of the desire

Sometimes the difference is obvious like love and fear. Sometimes maybe a little harder to distinguish for example contentment and boredom. There is also a difference between being happy, elated or euphoric. Same with being sad, miserable or devastated.
With the positive emotions you have to give yourself credit where credit is due. Were you just happy when you graduated, had a baby, landed that job, got married? Recognize you were in a higher vibrational state and keep that feeling in memory to use again.
Same with negative emotions, were you just sad when you lost a love one, lost a job, overlooked on a promotion? Again recognize you are in a lower vibration sate and allow yourself to feel it and release it. This may not happen overnight but it has to happen, burying the negative emotions deep inside will only block any positive progress you can make later on.
