It is an exceptionally disciplined art that requires large amounts of effort and thought put into the simplest of movement. Even the easiest of steps can never be perfect, something can always be better. For example, once you have mastered the step, more turnout from the hip, more lengthening, more stretch of the foot, etc. is desired. Dancers really do put in blood, sweat, and tears to do what they love.
