Compassion also means to have genuine concern for all of humanity. We need to be compassionate to not only to the close people around our lives but to notice the suffering of strangers. This stood out to me because people may mistake a person, giving and taking care of someone with money or even their own personal time as being compassionate but that person could be acting selfishly or acting for affection for an audience. In the presidential elections the nominees take a lot of ACTions to show that they care for America and the America people by traveling, donating, and making speeches however their main care and actions are primarily for their selfish needs of wealth or to become the president of the United States. We need to grow apart from actions like these and expand care in a genuine way.
