Bullying Bullying is something that happens all around the world; in schools, society, and even at home. When someone uses their superior strength or influence to intimidate or force another to do work they are becoming a bully. Bullying happens in all types of ways. It can be social, verbal, physical or cyber. There are ways bullying can be prevented and put to an end. This issue does not only include kids against kids, all ages of people can be bullied or bully others. In this essay, multiple examples of bullying and all of it scenarios that go along with this topic, will be present. There are four categories when referring to bullying; verbal, physical, social and cyber. Any form of conversations where the victim is uncomfortable with the words said to them such as name-calling, insults and racial remarks- known as verbal bullying. This starts of small but is most likely leads into other forms of bullying. Physical bullying includes unpermitted contact occurring that may result in pain or injury to the victim. All forms of contacts are included in this category; shoving, kicking, punching, and scratching. Bullies try to go for the more vulnerable kids who are unable to defend themselves from the attacks. Victims can’t be depicted by their sex, height, weight, nationality, or personality. There is not a set category that claims that one group will be bullied and the other will not. People have found similarities in victims; they tend to be shy, unhappy, anxious kids that have little to no friends. Victims can be attacked for their difference from the current society - such as their clothing, walking rhythm, or their achievements.
