There are those who are pity compassionate and others who are love compassionate. Pity compassionate people give to those who they think are in need of help. For example, I saw many people just giving out money to the homeless in Los Angeles. Don’t get me wrong, that isn’t a bad thing, but they didn't listen to them. They didn’t choose to observe their surroundings. From the helpers point of view, it seemed like the homeless man just needed money. I mean he is homeless, right? The conversation would not have to be too personal, just something to show him that someone cares and wants to hear his story. I might come off as “too nice” or “nosy”, but the way I see it is I care. I am deeply
