Definition Essay On Beauty

Society nowadays have different definitions of what beauty actually is. Sometimes an individuals might see a person and think that person is striking, but someone else might have a different perspective of the person’s appearance. To me, attractiveness is not only about something that the eyes admire, but mostly about the personality of a person. I think true beauty lies beyond a face full of make-up, or the expensive piece of clothing that someone spend a great amount of money to wear just for one day just to get great amount of approval, Or the way they style their hair. There is more to beauty then just appearance. There are thousands of way society define beauty, but the two most commons one to me are the inner beauty, and the medias definitions of beauty. If we ask different gender to define the word ‘Beauty’, most male gender would describe a “beautiful woman” that is appealing through the eyes, and same thing goes for the female gender, they would give the same definition for the opposite gender. Of course, a person’s beauty is always appealing to look at. The media pictured the word beauty as a person size, shape, and forms. They make us think that to be beautiful we should be the size of a super model, or, we should look like celebrity like Beyoncé or Kim Kardashian. Society try so hard to be beautiful now that they don’t mind spending thousands of thousands of dollars just to make themselves feels beautiful.
