My Identity defines me as a Humble Beast. A Humble Beast has 3 major characteristics. A Humble Beast prefers actions to words, puts others before himself, and can bring the inner beast out when needed. In my eyes I’m a Humble Beast. I have been nominated for and have won several different awards in different fields. I won first place in The Mahogany Brain Challenge, a black history trivia competition, two years in a row. I was awarded MVP for my recreational basketball team at the season’s end. Most recently, I was honored as an inductee to the National Honor Society at Roosevelt High School. I do not accomplish these feats without hard work. It is through my actions that I can achieve my goals, much more than just words.
