Definition Essay: Success Everyone defines success differently. The dictionary definition for success is the achievement of something desired, planned, or attempted. You can be successful by positively influencing one person or a group of people. You can be successful academically, professionally, and socially. These different ways of being successful have a positive vibe that can be took and passed on by you and the person/people you influence.
Yes you can be successful by influencing a single person or a group of people. I believe that every person at one point in time has looked up to someone for guidance, direction, and encouragement. I’ve personally looked up to people for guidance, direction, and encouragement. One thing about that is that you will always remember the people that took out of their time to show you guidance, direction, and encouragement. Like those people that positively influenced my life, I want to be able to positively influence someone else’s life. One of my goals in life is to give back to other just as or even better than I have received. I want to help someone to my best ability so I can know I had a huge impact on their life and I could feel very positive about my actions. …show more content…
Some people set their own goals and try their best to reach them in a certain period of time. Some have a competition with their friends to compete with each other to see who can outdo/one up each other so they can push each other to do better. In order to successfully succeed academically you must first take care of your body. Your body is very important and without the right amount of sleep and nutrients/vitamins it need it will shut down and you can become very ill. You also need to take good notes, study/prepare for the tests and/or quizzes that are coming up, and have some very good test taking
