Hair... a physical aspect on the human body. Hair can be short, long, curly, or straight. Hair can be styled differently from being braided, to being put in an updo, to being kept natural. Hair is a way for us to express ourselves. I have long, blonde, curly hair. My hair gets blonder at the bottom thanks to a popular hair coloring technique called balayage. Because my hair is naturally curly, my hair curls well when I use a curling iron to enhance the curls. However, because my hair is thin it also can get pin straight when I use a straightening iron. If I am going to a wedding, I may go to they hair salon and ask them to put an intricate braid in my hair. If I am going to a dinner, I may straighten my hair to change it up a little. If I am going to an interview, I may use a curling iron to enhance my curls. If I am going to class, I may just keep my hair natural. If I find my hair getting dry, I may put a moroccan oil mask in to rejuvenate the ends. These habits are typical for the average teenage girl. …show more content…
However, I also see the my grandfather. I see the a man who came to America from Greece without knowing an ounce of english. I see a man who had a few dollars to support his wife and three children. I see a man who worked day and night to make sure his family always had food on the table. I see a man who I followed around to collect the tenants rent while my parents were at work. This man had blonde hair. None of his kids had blonde hair and out of all six grandchildren, I was the one fortunate enough to obtain this
