Love. The one single, powerful emotion that has the ability to change everything. Love is many things. It is patient and kind. It is unpredictable and unconditional. Love is like walking down a road and coming upon two paths; both will change your life forever, but you have to decide which one is good, which one is bad, which one is right, and which one is wrong. It is like riding on a roller coaster and knowing there is going to be many twists, turns, drops, and sometimes, a moment of peace, but you still hop on for the thrill of the ride. Sometimes, love helps you find yourself, and oh, is it a wonderful thing. Love comes in many forms and sizes; the love of a parent, the love of a sibling, the love of a friend, the love of a religion, and especially, the love of that one person who makes it feel like they put …show more content…
It is taking a risk, but knowing there is a possibility of jumping into something so much deeper, and so much more beautiful, but, love also comes with many risks-- especially the fear of heartbreak. Oh, the heartbreak. This one emotion can rip your heart strings to shreds and have no mercy. The pain love can put in your heart is like a revolving door of grief-- everyone says it will be okay, but the pain is too immense to be able to believe them. Maybe that’s why people fear falling in love; they fear the pain that can come with it like they fear death, because the heartbreak is the ugly truth of this one emotion. Heartbreak is inevitable; everyone feels that type of pain at one point in their lives. This seems to the be the biggest problem with love-- fear. People always have a fear of admitting their true feelings because they are afraid of being rejected. They are scared to say "I love you" because they don’t want to bare the pain of not hearing those three words back. People would rather pretend they didn't love someone, and protect themselves from the hurt, but without love, is there emotions and
