There are many arguments to what a hero must be and what qualities they must have. The superheroes that cover comic books can lift cars with a finger and carry massive buildings without strain. What if the qualities that make up a hero are not as herculean as we may fantasize? In the grand tale of Beowulf, the main character shows how acts of character defines a hero.
