Ex Nihilo Creation Story

In the beginning there was nothing but utterly silent darkness when suddenly a single, microscopic light began to shine. With each passing day this light became brighter and brighter. This light was a pure white, bright, almost blue energetic light. One day the light was so bright there was no darkness to be seen, only white brightness. In the center of this bright energetic light began to form a faint shadow of a human form. The human form could be seen dancing around, jumping, hopping, and skipping every day. After many, many days the human form slowed in its dancing, jumping, hopping and skipping. The form could be seen sitting with head in hands as if to be thinking. I really did not choose any one or more of the myth types before I began. Instead I developed the story, then went back and picked out the Weigle types from my story. Out of the 9 Weigle types of myth creations, I used Ex nihilo, Secretion, and Deus Faber. I was surprised how the story fit into these myth types. Especially the secretion type, that was a little unexpected, but fit perfectly. According to the text, Ex nihilo means from nothingness or from a spirit. This means the creator brings the creation into being through thought, speech, breath, dream, laughter, etc. My creation myth included two factors of this type of myth creation. First, there was nothing but bright, white light from which the shadow form just appeared from nothingness. In the Deus Faber myth type the world is created by a great maker god. In this myth type the creator possesses craftsmanship skills that are intricate and clever. My shadow was the master craftsman in his forming of his spheres from his own substance. The detail he put into the making of his spheres were indeed intricate and clever. Forming the hills and valleys, then later adding the tiny creatures that he formed from his own substance was nothing short of intricate and clever. The final type of Weigle used in my creation myth was Secretion. In the Secretion myth type it suggests that the creator creates something through some sort of secretion of itself. Those secretions may be vomit, sweat, urination, defecation, masturbation, web-spinning, or more.
