Deerslayer Compare And Contrast

Improved Essays
A hero is someone who is willing to drop everything to go fight for something that can lead to a life or death situation. My two heroes are Theodore Little Parish and Deerslayer. My father was and has been a huge inspiration in not just my life but several others for today’s generation. Deerslayer is not much of a hero today but in 1800 he was inspiration for hundreds of lives. He held all of the qualities of a Indian but looks of a French man and still fought with the British. My father and Deerslayer are completely different because they live by different rules and perspectives. My father uses the laws and military code as a bases but works with his own higher coded of ethnics. Deerslayer is a 1800s fictional French boy who was raised by …show more content…
I believe his brain is set to work until there is nothing left to do or he can’t walk. There is always working to be done. There are days that he will relax and do things but it’s normally when he is hurt or when he just doesn’t feel like working. My inspiration today for wanting to join the military is from him exposing me to everything that he could. He has taught me how to fly a plane, drive boats, cars, trucks, tractors, and how to hunt. I was raised to work and enjoy what you have; if it can fix or built then do it. He has even taught me how to use my hands to build rebuild engines, uses power tools, old tools, just how to become a handy man and how to do things without having to pay someone to do it for you. He has proven to me that life does not have to be based off on how much money that you or make but off of what you love doing; or just what makes you happy. He gives me the free dome to do whatever and inspires me to try everything so you don’t question yourself later about it. He rather me try new things in front of him then instead of with friends in case something goes wrong. The biggest thing that I believe is the most important thing in my life is; if you want something don’t expect to have it handed to you, but pursuing it yourself with the encouragement of others. What you do wrong now is a lesson on what not to do next time but don’t allow things to get in your way to pursue your dream because anything is possible as long as you put your mind to it. Current that is what is driving me to become a navel pilot. I love to fly plains and I will do whatever it takes to make it come true even it means taking a step back to take the next forward. When I was deciding what collages I was looking at, he gave me a piece of advice to take with me; college are not just going to look at you for your grades and scores they will also look at you for what kind of person you are. The military wants people

Hero: “a person admired for bravery, great deeds, or noble qualities” (“Hero”). Many heros arose and helped others throughout the American Revolutionary War. During the years of this war, 1775-1783, what it means to be a hero became clear. A hero wasn’t someone who was just nice; a hero was someone who is brave, confident, and strong. These people became heroes because of the magnificent things that they did for this country.…

Who is a hero for you? Many people answer that from superheroes to a war hero because people have different views on heroes. However, heroes are for me people who think of others first before they think of themselves. The best example of heroes is Terry Fox who was a Canadian and marathoner. Even though Terry Fox had his right leg amputated at the knee because of cancer, he tried to run across Canada to raise money for people with cancer, so many Canadian admire him.…

To me a hero is a person who risked their lives or everything they to save someone or something. In my opinion, Johnny was the biggest hero in the novel The Outsiders, by S.E Hinton. Johnny was abused at home and then got jumped but that never stopped him from saving those little kids in the burning church. As the boys were on their way back to the church from Dairy Queen they saw that the church was up in flames, so they ran in to help little kids that were trapped. This just shows that how courageous Johnny is to save some little kids that he had never even met before.…

A hero is someone who understands the responsibility that comes with his freedom. In class we were asked to read three stories The Crisis No. 1, Speech to the Second Virginia Convention, and The Life of Olaudah Equiano and from the stories I saw that freedom today is a lot different from freedom in those stories. In America today we take for granted our freedom unlike Thomas Paine, Patrick Henry, and Olaudan Equiano who fought for our freedom and did not take it for granted, if those three people saw how much people discriminate others they would be offended because there hard work did not change much, and Americans has lost their faith in God and more and more are losing their faith every single day. We as a country take for granted out liberty rather than the people who came to America and…
