On a cold winter day in December , I was hunting in a pasture 2 miles south of my house. My dad, me, and my brother went deer hunting. It turned out to be a successful day. I went to the deer stand and sat there for probably an hour and saw nothing. The next hour went by and all I saw was a squirrel. Then all I have for sound going through my ears were a big buck coming thru the brush. I take the shot and hit it. The reason that my shot actually hit is because my dad taught me how to hunt. I got down from the stand and went over to it and looked at it. Once we got it sliced open and looked at it I said I shot the deer in between the ribs. My brother was in a stand about 100 yards away from me. Once he heard the shot he came over as fast as
