Deer Accident Narrative

Narrative-
On 20Jun16 at 1527 hrs. I, Deputy Halbasch, was dispatched to the area of Co Rd 4 & Co Rd 18 for a report of vehicle vs. deer accident.

Upon my arrival near 22142 Co Rd 4 I located a minivan parked on the west side of Co Rd 4 with its hazard lights on. There was moderate damage to the front driver’s side corner of the van. I exited & made contact with John Harsha, who stated he witnessed the accident, and Tammy Mikesh, who stated she was the driver of the van. Tammy stated she was driving southbound on Co Rd 4 when she hit the deer running across the road from the east to west.

John stated he was outside the house, heard the accident, and came to help if he could. Tammy stated she was the only occupant of the van, and did
