Human beings do not live forever. Death is the only thing that can only be prevented by human beings but cannot be stopped. Prevention only slows down the rate of mortality but it is obvious that someday we must cease operation. We are given birth to by fellow humans and we start the journey of life. There are however many obstacles and disasters that we face that may make us not to reach maturity. There are accidents, natural calamities, and diseases that may cause death. Globally, feminism seemed to be gaining momentum but according to new research and pools conducted, only 18 percent of Americans proved to be feminists. The percentage claiming their belief in equality for women was 85%. Even with the famous belief in equity all round, 52 percent were never identified as feminist and 26% were neutral. The people responsible for these polls were left wondering what could be done to trigger more passionate response from people. This data therefore reflects the position of the world as a whole when it comes to feminism.
Tentative Hypothesis
It is important to note that feminism focuses at bringing equal rights to all sexes and not as may people think that it’s all about making women have better rights than men. The belief in equal rights for both men and women refers to egalitarianism. Feminism is all about fixing women but not hurting men.
