The agency should focus on several human right violations around the globe seeking for their attention than venturing into this self destructive venture to decriminalize prostitution. It is the position of this paper that decriminalizing prostitution will create a moral burden on all. Imagine a religious leader whose congregation is largely made up of sex workers; will he still preach about fornication or idolatry? Again this paper suggests that instead of boosting women self-esteem, decriminalizing prostitution will worsen it. Women will now be a commodity bought and sold in the open market. It will erode on the very rights they and other women groups are making effort to promote and protect. This path being taken by this once respected human right watch group presents it to be dancing to the tune of the orchestra being played out by the heavy lobbyists working for the multibillion dollar sex
