The research topic I have chosen is the decrease in glaciers and the affects it has had on the world today and in the past. The retreat of glaciers has been an increasing issue, since the 19th century. Dating back to 1850, is when different countries around the world began to see a change in global warming which brought concerns surrounding the ice caps. From Europe, all the way to North America and in between, mountain ranges and ice caps have been affected. Slowly, but surely with spikes of global temperature rising over the years you can see a significant change.
