As a citizen of the United State of American I can say that I am grateful to have a constitution that our founding fathers created. Most of all I am grateful that our country is a democracy and the people have the power to elect political officials. After researching forms of government and theories it has allowed me to understand what other individuals from different countries go through. Our democracy is broken up into two, direct and representative.

The Declaration of Independence was introduced by the thirteen colonies. The purpose was to pretty much detach itself from Great Britain and the crown. They wanted freedom and most off all allow the people to have the power to choose what they wanted. The Declaration of Independence contains a list of things that they will not allow.
Federalist paper- there are a bunch of federalist paper on file. Alexander Hamilton was the author of them. The Federalist Papers were a series of eighty-five essays urging the citizens of New York to ratify the new United States Constitution. Hamilton wanted the citizens of New York to ratify the Constitution.
In my own opinion the constitution should have been written with a little more detail which would have prevented a lot of the laws that are being passed. It also would have prevented citizens to feel over powered by our own …show more content…
It regulates the supply of money and thereby avoid both inflation and recession. The Federal Reserve system is independent of either the president and congress. Its seven members board of governors is appointed for 14 years terms. Members are appointed by the president, with the consent of the senate, but they may not be removed from the board except for cause. The Free Market is where Americans acquire most of their goods and services. This is done through voluntary exchange among individuals, firms, and corporations. Free markets cannot function effectively if individuals and firms engage in fraud, deception, or unfair competition, or if contracts cannot be enforced. The United States is currently in debt for 18 trillion dollars according to the debt watch. The debt is an accumulation of federal budget deficits. America’s debt is the largest in the world for a single country. The debt grew the largest ever since President Obama has been in office. President Obama added the economic stimulus package, the Obama tax cuts and roughly $800 billion a year in military spending. In 2009 when Obama was sworn in, the debt was 10 trillion. Today its at 18 trillion which I can only conclude that Obama has been giving our country more debt. I really believe that at this point there is no way out of this debt.
