Meetings are not resolved and were burdens to the poor in the American colonies. The arguments against the king were not valid though because they were most simply over exaggerating the laws, regardless of how either side truly viewed it the Americans now had an even stronger rebuttal. Although there were still plenty of Americans that supported the British because they felt much more secure and safe, the Patriots rights were limited. Our nation may not be perfect but it represents the fact that maybe everything does happen for a reason. Without all this conflict, there would be no United States of America because that term was first officially used in 1776.
