Hence why money is the number topic in this book. “Having no money almost ensures you will not get justice.” (Auther) Although the DOI was written to ensure all men were created equal, it does not mean all men should have the same wealth. I understand there are many issues within our Government, but we, the people cannot control it. It was proven when Bush won over Gore. Not even the fact that Gore won the most votes, but because it came down to the state of Florida where Bush Jr. brother was Governor, magically there were issues, then even more magically, Bush won that state making him President for the second term. Had there been another Governor besides Jed Bush, I am sure Gore would had won. I bring up that election because this chapter breaks down how deceiving not only the Government is but the wealthy people of our nation. Money is power, and it may be true, no money, equals no justice. But is it fair to take from the wealthy and give to the poor? Or keep taking from the poor to try to keep things equal? There is no justice, nor will things ever really be equal.
