The Declaration of Independence, written by Thomas Jefferson, July of 1776, released by the Second Continental Congress.People fought and killed to gain their Independence from Great makes everyone in peace and stop arguing and fighting each other theirs a few things Is.The Mock Trials , The Pursuit of Happiness , and All Men are created equal If the Declaration of Independence was written today, I would change “All Men are created equal " to " All Race created equal ".
My reason why is because "All Men are created equal" actually means all white men. If this is a free Country why can't Black People be consider equal and free? Even though Thomas Jefferson wrote in The Declaration of Independence all men are equal he owned more than 200 Slaves. Muslims are not all terrorist, some come to America to get away from their country because they didn't like it there, not to come to America and cause chaos. Just because we have different color of skin doesn't make us any different from other colors. This is the reason why Iwant to change " All Men are created equal " to " All race are created equal ". …show more content…
If the British committed a murder or shot people they would not be punished, however on the other hand if the Colonist ever killed anyone or committed a murder they would be punished by getting hung. I find this unfair when the British is up here killing tons of colonists and the British, don't get punished for it but the Colonist do. If anyone of the Colonist or the British or anyone commit a murder you should not get hung but, the death sentence should be Gun to the head meaning instant death. What the British did should be punished and be hung. The Colonist do not need to be punished. Punishing anyone by taking away their abilities to ship stuff across seas isn't a good enough punishment for murder. Imposing taxes on the Colonist without their
