Declaration of Imitation Essay I declare independence from my family. They have gone too far with all of these rules and restrictions that they have established in my life. I feel like I should be able to make my own choices and decisions, and decide what I want to do, and when I am going to do them.

They have embarrassed me in front of my family, friends, and strangers to try and keep me in line and in place.
They have grounded me for no reason, just simply for their pleasures and torture.
They make me drive places because they are too lazy to do it themselves.
They make me do chores while they sit around and watch tv or be on their phones because they think that chores are too much work.
