Animals are beings living with sensitivity despite their wild nature which man himself is not without. Because of this, they deserve to be treated with respect and consideration. It is in this spirit that the Declaration of Sentiments for animals should be adopted, to limit the acts of cruelty against them. It is a step to bring man to the respect for life in all its forms for the good of the entire community to which he belongs and which he depends. Ensure the respect for Animals’ rights is necessary to ensure respect for human rights because, both are inseparable from each other. The conditions of life imposed on them leave no room for the game, hunting, or simply to run and jump as they would in their natural environment.

Governments and organizations must work together to develop legislation. Based on the model of the Declaration of Independence, the Declaration of Sentiments for animals must stipulate that; no animal should be subjected to bad-treatment or cruel acts; wild animal has the right to live free in its natural environment, and to breed; if the death of an animal is necessary, it should be instant, painless, and non-generator of anguish; extended deprivation his freedom , hunting and fishing leisure, as well as any use of wild animals for other purposes than vital, are contrary to the law; the animal should in no case be abandoned or put to death under unjustified manner; the animal man held under its dependence has the right to attentive care; exhibitions, shows, and movies using animals must also respect their dignity. “Animals have an intrinsic value as sentient beings. Thus, as humans, we have duties towards animals, even extensive duties, which not only involve omissions, such as preventing suffering through intensive livestock farming, but may also include positive duties in terms of providing services for animals” (Stein,3). Any act involving unnecessary death of an animal and any decision leading to such an act is a crime against life.
