Decision making is in the military is an exercise that all leaders are involved with on a recurring basis. Some decisions are simple and routine in nature, while others are more complex requiring a more systemic approach to develop a course of action. Decision making requires knowing if, when and what to decide when faced with a problem and understanding the consequences of that decision.
