Many citizens believe that interest groups only gave them benefits, but they also have many downsides, including narrow down the members’ interests, secret communications, and threats of public officials. The upsides of interest groups cannot cover the downsides because when people join an interest group, they will only have time for it. They do not have time for other interest groups because their life is not all about interest groups. In my opinion, the influence of government by interest group is the most important. Most of the interest groups affect the government by fighting the rights of people. Also, the interest group has to be registered by the Federal Regulation of Lobbying Act of 1946. I believe the federal government has enough control over lobbying. It is neat to have Citizens to spread their ideas to the government. But I also think that if the government can share their ideas to the public, then the United States would have a better relationship between the federal government and
