Jewelry should be removed if it seems to be more noticeable than the face. It is highly recommended to bring a pair of glasses without the lens, so glare does not appear in the photo.
5) Sleep
Sleep, an essential for outstanding health and well-being, is often overlooked. Yet millions of people do not get enough sleep and suffer from lack of sleep. Get plenty of rest the night before the photo session. The last thing anyone wants for their headshot is to look tired. A healthy night's sleep will help the eyes and face appear relaxed.
No need to worry about how you position yourself; the photographer will give proper direction during the photo session. However, if there is a particular look you aspire to achieve, bring samples of it with you so that the photographer can understand the idea of the style you are searching for.
