The Debra Underwood Inc is a small company which specializing in small coating products for ceramic tile and marble floors. As the only local flooring business that provides this service, the goal is to receive the contract with the federal government. Debra Underwood Inc is a diverse organization, which invests substantially in cutting edge coating products for floors. The company has received a patent for our product and ready to expand the business and compete for the Navy contract. This is a huge government contract and strong negotiation power and strategies will be needed or used. Staring out with the looking into the SBA (Small Business Administration), which is an independent federal agency charged with aiding, counseling, and protecting the interests of American small businesses. The SBA can assist the businesses with obtaining federal acquisition and procurement strategies of the contracts. The SBA also offers training and counseling services through its Office of Entrepreneurial Development including information related to Small Business Development Centers, The General Services Administration (GSA) for contracting opportunities and resources, maintains numerous supply schedules. A schedule is a list of goods and/or services provided by GSA-selected multiple vendors at varying prices.
