Granted, not everyone likes celebrity gossip, but they might just discuss one or two details of a celebrity. For example, Dr.Charlotte De Backer of the University of Leicester, in King’s article, states that “She discovered that the younger the participant was, the more apt they were to follow celebrity gossip, even if the gossip was about a celebrity that they had never heard of”(paragraph 7). Everyone has gossip to share with their friends about and to discuss their lives of celebrities using from social media to see their news feed or what they are doing. This matters because if gossip is taken too far, people could start making up ideas of celebrities which might not be true, yet if it is done in moderation, then it is fine to gossip with friends, family, etc. In Palmer's article, he argues “I’d rather bond with someone over the latest antics of a celebrity than all the other dark topics in the news,” (paragraph 1). In King’s article, it demonstrates, “You can't avoid knowing that Winona Ryder has been arrested and convicted of shoplifting or that Mel Gibson has a problem with alcohol,” (paragraph 11). Not all celebrities have a perfect, luxurious life as everyone thinks that have, some have committed crimes and taken to jail, others have mental problems, and some even have the same problem as almost everyone has, an alcohol problem. This is an important idea since people could get a very bad influence and later on could hurt themselves, leading them to unexpected consequences like death. In a website, it stated that Adolf Hitler had started world war II, and was responsible for the deaths of millions of people, soldiers, and civilians killed in the Nazi concentration camps. Having this in mind, we, as human beings (unperfect) could provoke many fights causing to having an
