It is a non-profit organization that works with other women’s health care organizations to promote a healthy lifestyle and and advertise the information across the United States. The other charity published was the Children’s Inn at the National Institutes of Health (NIH) that was started in the early 1980’s in Bethesda, Maryland to help families that were waiting in the waiting room during their children’s treatments instead of returning to their hotel rooms. When she worked as Wayne State University’s governor, she supported numerous initiatives and organized various efforts to help create a stronger earlier childhood education and also co-chaired for the Children’s Leadership Council in which promoted this system. While she was helping the education procedure, Dingell was funding for charities to help promote women’s breast cancer and heart health exploration. However, whenever she voted for certain bills, a majority of her votes have not corresponded very well with Congress’ outcome, almost every bill she voted on has had the opposite outcome. Dingell did endorsed Hillary Clinton in the 2016 Presidential election but throughout her campaigns, she seems to do nothing but slander and state that it was a weak strategy.
