Death with dignity is an option for terminally ill people to volunteer to request a prescription from their physician to fasten their death in a humane and peaceful manner. The only way you can request the medication is if you bring it up, not the doctor. You must also be terminally ill, in which you cannot get better, and able to drink the mediation without any help.

Personally, I do not think this is a bad idea. People can do as they please as long as it doesn't bother anyone else. It’s their choice. Death with Dignity can be the person's last choice before they can’t do anything. Many people don’t want to live when they can’t control what they do. I do not see how this can violate the ‘do do harm’ oath doctors take because the doctors do not do it, the patient does. The doctor can not even bring it up. …show more content…
