Romeo decides he can not go home and realizes he has to find that girl from the party, which happens to be Juliet. Romeo climbs over the wall bordering the Capulet 's orchard land. Benvolio and Mercutio both call out for him but he does not reply. They both leave under the assumption that he doesn’t want to be found. Juliet suddenly appears above where Romeo is standing. Juliet is unaware that he is in her garden while Romeo wonders if he should speak yet. They talk back and forth and they both talk about how they are from the different parties. Montagues and Capulets. After the nurse calls multiple times to Juliet telling her to come here she eventually had to leave. Romeo departs and searches for a monk to aid him in his cause. He finds one that calls himself “Friar Lawrence” Which he will play a very important role in the rest of the story to come. The Friar pretty much agrees to marry them but after the sudden shock and wondering of how Romeo went from loving Rosaline to loving Juliet so quickly. To some extent it is free will as an individual to be able to marry whoever they want even though it may not follow the “right” rules. Going into scene 3 now, which starts off with Mercutio and Benvolio wondering what happened to Romeo last night, they learn from a Montague servant that he didn’t return home. Tybalt has sent a letter wanting to fight Romeo, when Romeo finds out about it he wonders aloud if he is capable of fighting
