The heart of this beast is a 3.0 2JZ with a 79mm Turbonetics Mid-Frame turbo pushing 32 pounds of boost and features a spool-assist system that uses compressed nitrogen to quickly spool the turbo. All this boost is compressed with six 8.5:1 Mahle pistons and Manley TurboTuff rods in the factory block. To seal the cylinders they’ve topped the block with ported-factory heads and GSC Power Division S2 cams. The MegaSquirt-III Pro ECU is responsible for the traction management system that adds and subtracts not only boost but timing as well when the wheel sensors detect slippage. To lubricate the engine the guys up at DIYAutoTune included a PowerHouse Racing/Dailey Engineering Dry Sump system to ensure they had oil pressure during the car’s high speed adventures. The engine is backed with a G-Force GF4A transmission and a GM 12 bolt rear axle with 3.73 gears.
