Death penalty has been around a while and it’s starting to get to harsh. This essay will be talking about death penalty. Death penalty is too harsh. If you kill someone it is a mistake on your end. Life in prison is way too harsh. Everyone should deserve a second chance. If you are convicted for a small crime, it’s not fair. Killing someone is a mistake, everyone deserves a chance to redeem themselves. Death sentence is a life in prison. It is not fair if you commit a small crime and get death sentence when you should only get a number of years. It is different if you are a cereal killer and kill a whole bunch of people. If you commit a big crime as in killing more than one person I think you probably should get life in prison. That’s more fair than if you commit a small crime. Life in prison is very harsh. It is probably more harsh than you think. Even though prison used to be more harsh, it’s still pretty harsh. In the old days they didn’t have games and other stuff you can play. Now they have basketball a swimming pool and some other stuff too. Plus in prison you get no privacy and they serve unhealthy and bad tasting food. Some prisoners have gotten get food poisoning after eating food in prison. Also some of the smaller guys get bullied and pushed around by the bigger guys. Some guys come out of prison with black eyes, broken bones, and bloody noses. So that’s pretty much why life in prison is very, very harsh.
