Death Penalty In Nebrask Article Analysis

This article is about not bringing back the death penalty in Nebraska. I completely agree that there should not be a death penalty, it is not something that is needed. I don't believe that there is ever a reason to dehumanize another human being. Just because someone did something heinous does not mean that we need to react with something as equally as heinous like killing them. I feel that life in prison is sufficient enough for the individuals that do these heinous thing. I agree that it is not up to us as people to make the decision if someone gets to live or die (O'loughlin, Michael. "Death Penalty On The Ropes?." America 215.11 (2016): 8-9. MasterFILE Elite. Web. 25 Oct. 2016). This article is about how residents of California want to end the death penalty in California. I agree that there should not be a death penalty. My reason for believing that there should not be a death penalty is that I don't think that it should be another human's choice to decide is a person lives or not. The author of the article is against it because most people that receive the death penalty are in fact innocent, which is also something that I agree with. When we put someone in prison if they are later found not guilty of the crime …show more content…
This mosque was giving it members three days to convert to mainstream Islam or they would face a death penalty. I don't agree with this at all. I don't think that there is ever a reason to dehumanize someone. I definitely don't agree that someone should be killed if they do not convert to your religious beliefs. They mosque in London is completely in the wrong with their belf that someone should be killed for not converting to their religious beliefs (David, Churchill.
