The Death of Support, Romeo, and Juliet
In William Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet, the relationship of the two lovers causes conflict when the feud between their families separate them as they take risks that lead to their inevitable death. This play takes place in Verona, Italy, where Romeo and Juliet fall in love upon meeting each other. However, they are torn once they realize each of their identities as Romeo is of the house of Montague, and the latter is of the house of Capulet. As both families continue their bitter rivalry towards one another, they are not met with the realization of their actions until it leads to their children's deaths. Throughout Shakespeare's play, the two people who have knowledge of their relationship are Friar Lawrence and the Nurse who are to blame for Romeo and Juliet's deaths. Friar Lawrence is one of the first people that Romeo entrusts with his love for Juliet however, once Romeo is banished to Mantua, he comprises a plan that leads to the deaths of the two lovers. When Juliet is to marry Paris in a few days, she turns to Friar Lawrence to resolve this issue, afterwards he gives her a vial that will seem like she is dead and composes a letter to Romeo about the plan by saying,

The significance of this play and the context of the characters brings to view that although there were people who opposed any relationship between the two families, the two that supported their relationship the most also are to blame for the deaths of the young lovers. There is also fear involved, although not as much as the fear that both Romeo and Juliet faced, as their support makes their abandonment and betrayal taking an even greater toll on the two's relationship.
