World War II created an epidemic of destroying nations, their military, and even innocent bystanders who died just because of where they lived in the world. An astonishing thirty four million civilians were brutally murdered because of what their countries and the military were fighting for. Disturbingly there were more civilian casualties than there were military, and the civilians weren’t the ones out fighting the enemy each day. The civilian casualties wouldn’t have been at such a high figure if the United States had never dropped “Little Boy” and “Fat Man” on the innocent towns of Hiroshima and Nagasaki in Japan.

The Soviet Union was one of the nations to take the biggest hit in casualties during World War II. The Germans led by Adolf Hitler totaled just over seven million deaths, with the civilian casualties mounting up a couple more hundred than the military deaths. The Germans surely caused more deaths in the war than they received, after killing any Jew in their sights. Germany had its backs against the walls when they were facing off against two of the major powers that included the United States and the USSR, they were considered the main enemy of World War II because of their holocaust stint. Great Britain lost a significantly lower number of civilians compared to countries such as Russia, Germany, or China. Sixty thousand innocents lost their lives during the time period of the war, which is a hefty number but still not remotely close to the extreme numbers of the other countries. The reason why Great Britain lost so little civilians and soldiers is because of their prime minister Winston Churchill and their studly air force that could be related to the San Antonio Spurs because neither ever
