One of the features of the Death Note is an organic fusion of realism with fantasy, with the apparent superiority of realism. Despite of that fact, Shinigami is acting along with people, and the intrigue revolves around the notebook for the murders. Shinigami Ryuk purposely dropped his notebook on Earth, which gives the power to kill people. As he explains it later, he was bored with life in the world of Shinigami and decided to have some fun. Eventually, the notebook quickly finds its owner because after it appears in the human world it becomes a part of it. It is one of the very important rules. The owner becomes a student named Yagami Light. The young man driven by his ambitions and moral convictions signs a contract with Ryuk, and begins to punish the criminals as in his opinion the world has rotten. …show more content…
In response to his deeds, people called him Kira from english word “killer”. It is very interesting how name Kira resembles famous Akira, which also meant to be ‘God’ but mainly is the light of the New World. It is especially interesting and ironic in english because Kira is Light and Akira actually means Light. However, this presumable coincidence isn’t the main reference to God, as even before that in the opening of the anime is a lot of references to Christianity and creation of God are shown. There are so many parts in the Graveyard book that I think are hilarious, but there are some funny parts in the Graveyard book that are my favorite. So I decided to share a couple of my favorite funny parts in the Graveyard book. ETHICAL ASPECTS OF EUTHANASIA IN THE LIGHT OF GAUDIUM ET SPES AND EVANGELIUM VITAE Introduction From my earliest experiences of visiting the sick and giving the last sacraments to the faithful as a Catholic priest, many times I have wondered if there was something specific in my ministry that I could do to help patients and their families when they have to face the critical moment of death. In addition, having a mother who suffered agonizing pain for nearly six years, both physically and spiritually, from pancreas cancer, I often pondered deeply about the struggles for existence, about the meaning of suffering and about accepting the reality of death. Sometimes, the life full of suffering is so great that it is almost unbearable. Moreover,…

Overall Death Note is one of the top series from Japanese culture, teaching us what justice is. The main character Light Yagami discovers this notebook called the Death Note given to him by the Shinigami, Ryuk. He later learns that if he writes anybody’s name in this notebook while thinking of their face, they will die according to what is put in the note, and nicknames himself Kira which means killer in English. Despite the well-developed storyline, underlying moral, and humous scenes institutions and critics state that Death Note is a bad influence on children since they do not understand the underlying meaning of the death note. What makes Death Note 2015 a success is that it teaches us what justice is, and the well-developed storyline.…

The debate on physician-assisted suicide is an ongoing one with many social influences. Only 5 states in the United States authorize Death with Dignity, an end-of-life option for mentally competent, terminally ill patients with a prognosis of six months or less to live. It enables patients to use the medical practice of aid in dying: able to request and receive a prescription from a physician for medication that could be self-ingested to end his or her dying process if it becomes unbearable. On November 1st, 2014, 29-year-old Brittany Maynard practiced her right to die with dignity in Portland, Oregon surrounded by her loved ones in her home.…
