The effect of a close death is never the same for anyone. Some may experience a growing process throughout the anguish of a death, while others might find the grieving process more strenuous. To cope with the heartache from the loss of a loved one, is something everyone will have to go through at one point in life. Unfortunately, very few people can comprehend the concept of death, nor the fact that it is inevitable. Furthermore, there is not precisely a felicitous way to grief, nor is anyone's grieving process the same. In William Faulkner’s short story, A Rose for Emily, Miss Emily is faced with the death of her father.
