When preparing for a test or an exam or even a pop quiz stress can start to form, you may start to overthink or doubt yourself even if you know all the information on the test, exam, or pop quiz. But, imagine dealing with anxiety and being overwhelmed with self-doubt, confusion, lack of self-control, and not being able to focus on one thing, will you be able to take that test, will anything make sense anymore, because as a teen dealing with anxiety no matter how much information I know that test will become impossible. Anxiety can cause the brain to worry constantly about every individual decision, parents to not know how to help their children and confusion from right and wrong. Being stress and having anxiety are two different things and affect people and their decisions two different ways. Having an anxiety disorder has its positives such as “stay alert and focused, spur you to action, and motivate you to solve problems” but these are just a few of the positives compared to the negative effects such as “feeling of apprehension or dread, trouble concentrating, feeling tense and jumpy, irritability, anticipating the worse, feeling like your minds gone …show more content…
These steps include speaking to a doctor, mental health professional, spiritual or religious advisor when speaking with a professional things can become more clear about what to do next. There are multiple resources and ways to help individuals with anxiety but once people are given all the recourses and steps to help themselves it is up to them whether they want to lower their chance of an anxiety attack. Knowing right from wrong is a difficult thing for individuals with anxiety but as long as professionals are doing the research and helping create steps for people to take, anxiety attack will lower and knowing the right thing to do will be possible for people with
