In the movie Dead Poets society, Neil Perry, the protagonist, battles to separate from others by being a leader and joining the play even though his father was so resilient of him in doing so. At the end of the movie Neil commits suicide because he he did not want to be tied down to follow his father's dreams of becoming a doctor. The one man who influenced so many people like Neil to follow their own path was Mr. Keating through the dead poets society club. In the dead poets society club, boys would go down to a cave and say their own poetry at night and give light to their new thoughts. Mr. Keating taught others to use “Carpe Diem”.
